My Principles
Inspired by Ray Dalio
Don't make excuses
The easiest thing to do in life is to make excuses, to others and more importantly to yourself.
Think long term, always
"Long term thinking gets you long term results." - Naval
Never cut corners, in any aspect of life
Every corner you cut saves some short term resources but always costs you more in the long run.
Don't focus on being busy, focus on being effective
"The world doesn't reward busy, the world rewards effectiveness." - Andy Frisella
Accept pressure as a normal part of the growth cycle
"Pressure is a privilege." - Gilbet Enoka
Be nice
Always. Be the nicest person in the room. It is the easiest trait to have that always pays dividends.
Capitalize on desirable opportunities
When you're dealt a good hand not screwing it up takes talent.
Appreciate the people in your life
All the people in your life, good or bad, are there for a reason. You need to learn to manage them appropriately.
Enjoy the bad times
Sometimes you have to go to hell to really appreciate heaven.
